The Blue Hat
A lot of people have asked about the blue hat. In fact, SO MANY people have asked about them that It’s hard to describe the connection you can have with such a simple object. You know how when you’re young you imprint on a particular blanket or something like that? That’s this hat for me. I’ve taken it everywhere and had some of my most amazing life experiences with it. I’m wearing it as I type this in fact. Over there years I’ve gone through probably about 6 of these…. so I purchased a ton of them and have them on standby. I don’t know if you’d consider that strange… but it’s a thing that makes me feel more approachable in almost all settings. “I don’t know that guy but he’s got a baseball cap on so he’s probably pretty easy to talk to”. Anyways…. I decided to put them here so you can have your own. I’ve wore this hat in the Amazon Rainforest, when my life was in danger from the Mad Batter, while teaching my kids about fluid dynamics, and in pretty much every video I’ve ever made. (I made the shift to this unbranded hat style pretty early on). This hat has gone with me everywhere… including shelf while interviewing The President,
