The sun does shine

This book changed me. Anthony Ray Hinton is condemned to Alabama’s Death Row for a crime he didn’t commit. How does a many keep his sanity throughout something like this? The fact that this book is REAL is difficult to come to terms with. Anthony does a fantastic job of explaining the pain and despair, yet teaches the importance of forgiveness.

Seriously… this book changed me, and also changed my goals. This book made me come to grips with the privileged life I’ve been given, as well as the reality of the power we give our elected officials. The voice actor is fantastic, and because of this it’s one of the only books I listened to at 1x speed.
